                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF BLACKFORD STREET
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON
                   SATURDAY, MAY 4, 1991 FOR THE PRESENTATION
                   OF "SPRING FLING" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF
                   THE STANLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH UNDER
                   CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Blackford Street between Dodson Avenue and
       Kelly Street on Saturday, May 4, 1991 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

       for the presentation of the "Spring Fling" under the sponsorship
       of the Stanley United Methodist Church provided that the sponsor
       shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades and traffic 
signs
       in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and
       shall provide at all times an access lane for fire and other
       emergency vehicles.
